Wedding Tree

Guest books....another opportunity for fun fun fun with your wedding creativity. Every detail of your day is an excuse to go nuts and create something individual, creative and unusual! Wedding photo booths with messages written on the back, a giant signature board or fun scrapbooks are just a few of the brilliant creations some brides have come up with for their day! For mine...it was the wedding tree. Achieved with color sprayed branches, bonsai trees or in this case a crystal wired tree bought from my local boutique home store 'Banana Tree' in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Use individual notelets in whatever shapes match your theme. I used hearts, but you could use leaf shapes, stars or even bride and groom silhouettes! I used some floristry wire wrapped around a pen to make an S shape to hang the notes on the tree.

Displaying the tree is almost as important as the tree itself. Make a scene with it! Adorn the base with items that fit your theme, I used shells, crystals and ivory skeleton leaves, and why not add a cute sign to explain to guests what to do. I made mine up in a sweet little poem and framed it in a 99p frame to let everyone know what the tree was for. Everyone loved it! Plus we framed all the notelets in a collage that has pride of place in the kitchen!!!
